Student Bar Association
The purpose of the Student Bar Association (SBA) is to act as a dedicated advocate for the interests and well-being of law students. The SBA serves as a vital bridge of communication between students, the Board of Trustees, and the Administration, ensuring that student voices are heard and their concerns addressed. By fostering open dialogue and collaboration, the SBA plays a crucial role in shaping policies and decisions that directly impact the student body.
In addition to its advocacy role, the SBA is committed to creating a vibrant and inclusive community by offering a wide range of opportunities for student participation in academic, social, and professional activities. These opportunities are designed to enrich the law school experience, promote student engagement, and support personal and professional development.
The SBA also strives to enhance the overall student experience by organizing events, programs, and initiatives that foster a sense of belonging and camaraderie among students. By doing so, the SBA contributes to the creation of a supportive and dynamic environment that nurtures both academic excellence and personal growth throughout the law school journey.
All students are members of the Student Bar Association at their designated campus - Monterey College of Law, San Luis Obispo College of Law, Kern County College of Law, or Empire College of Law.
