You are invited to the 2025 Andreen Moot Court community presentation! Please join us on Saturday, September 13, at the Clark Center for the Performing Arts Studio Theater to watch the student attorneys present their appellate-style oral arguments to a three-member judicial panel.

The case involves a Colorado web designer challenged the state’s Anti-Discrimination Act, arguing it would force her to create wedding websites that conflicted with her belief that marriage is between a man and a woman. Lower courts ruled against her, but the U.S. Supreme Court reversed, holding that compelling her to create such websites would violate the First Amendment’s protection of free speech.

Doors open at 5:00 PM, and the presentations start at 5:30 PM. There will also be a light reception afterward for an opportunity to meet and congratulate the finalists and their professors.  www.slolaw.org
