Many people do not realize that under a special California state law, Monterey College of Law and San Luis Obispo College of Law are allowed to consider applicants to both the JD and MLS programs who have successfully completed at least 60 units of undergraduate studies. This means that potential applicants are not required to have fully completed a Bachelors degree to be considered for admission to the law school. Although the majority of our applicants have completed their Bachelors degree, it is not uncommon for us to consider highly qualified applicants who have successfully completed 60+ units of undergraduate studies even if they have not fully completed an AA or BA degree program.
